Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Hello, this is my mandatory expo journal

I have two coming up in may - Bristol expo and London MCM expo.
Is anyone going to either??? I know a lot of people who are going to London (remind me who you are, please!) and a few that are going to Bristol. By the way, has anyone been to the bristol expo before? If so, what is it like??

I have a pretty busy month ahead of me. This coming week involves completing all of my textiles coursework for this friday and 5 paintings for saturday (there is an exhibition being held locally and it is the selection day). The next week I have my driving test (onoes!) and my two day photography exam which I dont really feel at all prepared for x_x That weekend is the bristol expo. For the two weeks following I will be mounting all of my photography and art coursework and exam work and having textiles theory everyday (I may actually die of boredom, stay tuned). My very last official day in school is the friday of the London expo. Thankfully we have a half day so I can make it to london in time for the friday of the expo. I dare imagine that the weekend will be spent meeting awesomepantartists, seeing many fantastic costumes and having funtimes with my raving friends

Freedom, art and luaghter. What more could you want in a weekend?

Ugh, tell me about it D: After I washed my wig it itched like crazy! I've taken measures so that the itchiness won't be so much against my skin now, thank god. I can totally sympathise anyway.

Oh neat!

I've been rereading the books and would have begun the half blood prince but I can't seem to find the 6th or 7th book anywhere x_x I think my sister has them at uni.
and nuu, we've never cosplayed from HP, though it did cross mine and my sisters minds once to do the twins because we look very similar. (or was that kaoru and hikaru from OHSHC?)
